The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council has congratulated Comrade Norbert Chiazor on his appointment as Special Assistant Media to Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa.
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement from the National Secretariat of the Union and signed by the National Secretary, Comrade Shuaibu Usman Leman.
According to the statement, “We write to felicitate with you on your appointment as Special Assistant Media to Executive Governor of Delta State.
” This is in recognition of your exemplary performance while serving as NUJ Chairman, Delta State Council for two terms, and in other endeavours, especially your hardwork, diligence and professionalism.
“While felicitating with you in this moment of recognition, we also enjoin you to remain steadfast in your work as usual, so as to justify the confidence reposed in you by the Governor.
” You accept the assurances of our cooperation and support at all times and my warmest personal regards, please”, the letter read.
Comrade Norbert Chiazor has been a phenomenal and tenacious journalist who as the NUJ Chairman, Delta State Council, made some record breaking achievements that even the National Secretariat noted, in addition to some of his notable services and contributions to the development of journalism practice both at the State and national levels.
