ASSOSA CELEBRATE OUT-STANDING STUDENTS

It was a success today as the old students of Afiesere secondary school Afiesere celebrate the 2019 out-going SS3 students of the institution.

The ceremony which was held today in the school auditorium was solely sponsored by the association led by the chairman Engr. Oghenegweke Oserivwoja. The ceremony was organized to celebrate and recognized the academic excellence of the out-going 2019 academic session.

According to the chairman Engr. Oghenegweke while addressing the institution stressed that, the 2019 out-going students demonstrated great faith in the school by their behavior and for the enrollment of WAEC in the school.

The chairman Engr. Oghenegweke also commented on the need for urgent attention on renovating and rebuilding the institution. Commenting that the institution lacks some basic infrastructure such as borehole water, electricity, chairs & tables as well as repainting of the entire building.

Engr. Oghenegweke also encourage the students to always channel their effort towards meaningful venture while the principal, Sir. Awheyevu Christian Orakpo (KSJI) in his vote of thanks commended the association for their immense contribution and encouragement towards the institution.

The association (ASSOSA) also presented awards and gift items to the principal, teachers, head boy & head girl as well as to other out-standing students who have contributed immensely in uplifting the institution to greater height. The awards and gift items were presented by the chairman and some noteable personnel of the association.

Its all ended in praises as the association call on the government, stakeholders, community leaders and other cooperate body to assist in renovating the institution to a credible standard.
